Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Role Summary
An intermediate school district in the Ionia, Michigan area is seeking a part-time School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. This role will focus on providing special education evaluations and psychological services to younger students, primarily in preschool through 4th grade.
This position offers a great opportunity to work within a collaborative, student-centered environment while maintaining a flexible, reduced schedule.

Primary Duties

Complete special education evaluations and psychoeducational assessments
Provide recommendations to support student eligibility and educational planning
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
Ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
Support early intervention efforts for elementary-aged learners
Maintain accurate and timely documentation


Qualifications

Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology required
Must be approved by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
Experience with elementary or early childhood populations preferred
Strong knowledge of IEP processes and evaluation timelines
Ability to work effectively as part of a team-based school environment

Schedule: Part-Time (21 hours per week)
School Year: 2026–2027 (exact dates TBD)
Setting: Onsite only
Caseload: Preschool through 4th grade (may shift to grades 1–4)
