Soliant has an opening for a Retail Staff Pharmacist for local contract opportunities across Akron, Ohio, and the surrounding communities. We have multiple needs in the area and are looking for pharmacists available for flexible part-time or full-time schedules of 20 to 40 hours per week. Work Hours: Flexible — 20 to 40 hours per week, depending on availability and coverage needs
Industry: Healthcare / Retail Pharmacy
Responsibilities

Dispense and verify prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Counsel patients on medication side effects, drug interactions, and adherence
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers on medication therapy and patient needs
Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Supervise and support pharmacy technician staff throughout the shift
Maintain accurate patient profiles and prescription records
Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service in a retail setting

Experience

Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred
Long-term care pharmacy experience is also considered
Comfortable working across multiple pharmacy locations in the Akron area

Skills

Strong patient counseling and communication skills
Reliable and adaptable across flexible scheduling needs
Comfortable working independently in a retail pharmacy environment
Team-oriented and professional in all patient interactions

Qualifications

An active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing is required

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
