Location: Waltham, MA
Pay Rate: $17-$18/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM (some flexibility available)

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandblaster Associate to join their manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing metal surfaces for finishing by removing rust, scale, and contaminants using abrasive blasting equipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality coatings and finishes on customer products.

Training will be provided for the right candidate who is reliable, hard-working, and committed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces
• Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met
• Select appropriate blasting media and techniques based on material and job requirements
• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• Previous sandblasting or industrial surface preparation experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Physically able to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform hands-on work
• Willingness to learn and be trained
