Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity provides the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational teams and diverse student populations, with flexibility around caseload and school assignments that will be determined after your interview. The district seeks experienced SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to deliver high-quality speech and language services within a school setting.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Pennsylvania SLP license, active and in good standing
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Ability to meet Pennsylvania state and district-specific requirements for school-based SLPs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not mandatory

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students, addressing individual needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and track student progress
  • Work closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support student success
  • Document and report in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt therapy techniques based on student progress and evidence-based practices

  • Start date: September 3, 2026; End date: May 21, 2027
  • Contract, 35 hours per week, locations throughout Mifflin or Juniata Counties
  • Flexible caseload determined after interview
