Senior Paralegal- Personal Injury
Beverly Hills/ Century City
Offering: $80,000 - $100,000 + bonus potential. Benefits, PTO, 401k w/ Match
Looking for: 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal. Must have at least 2+ years of experience specific to personal injury or other related plaintiff litigation.
We are a Southern California based personal injury law firm with offices in Los Angeles and Riverside and has represented individuals and families following serious accidents and life changing injuries.
The firm is mid sized and made up of experienced attorneys, paralegals, and support staff who focus exclusively on personal injury matters. The practice handles cases involving car and truck accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, and other complex injury claims. Over the years, the team has supported more than 1,000 clients, maintained a 98 percent success rate, and secured meaningful settlements and verdicts for people navigating some of the most difficult periods of their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Assist in the discovery process, including document review and organization.
- Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and updates on cases.
- Support settlement negotiation processes and participate in mediations or arbitrations as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury and litigation.
- Strong understanding of personal injury law, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
- Experience in settlement negotiations and mediation/arbitration processes.
- Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in legal research databases and case management software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
