Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year! This position features a balanced schedule of 37.5 hours per week, starting with a comprehensive orientation on August 3 and student-facing responsibilities beginning August 6, 2026. The contract runs through May 27, 2027, offering the chance for you to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current or eligible Illinois state licensure required
  • Accepting SLPs with CCC, CFY, or robust school-based experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Interest in working collaboratively and participating in process improvement
  • Dedication to providing quality, student-centered services

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students
  • Administer assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and track student progress
  • Participate in regular collaboration sessions, monthly meetings, and roundtable discussions
  • Engage in annual performance reviews and process improvement initiatives
  • Connect with colleagues across the region via a dynamic intranet for support and knowledge-sharing
  • Utilize readily available equipment and testing materials
