Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Put your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to work this summer in a contract role supporting students near Cambridge, MA. This opportunity is ideal for SLPs who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence and are eager to make a difference in a school setting during a focused, short-term assignment.

Assignment Details:

  • June 29th through August 6th
  • Two days per week
  • 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, totaling 10 hours weekly

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience providing SLP services in educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students, addressing communication, articulation, and language concerns
  • Assess student needs, set goals, and monitor progress closely
  • Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s success
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with parents and team members to coordinate care and share progress
