Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This travel MRI opportunity offers you the chance to collaborate with a skilled radiology department, learning from various leadership approaches while working alongside experienced MRI techs and radiologists. You’ll be exposed to a diverse patient population, including complex neuro patients and student athletes, helping to keep your skills sharp and your workdays engaging.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekend rotation based on unit needs
  • No on-call requirements
  • Holiday expectations per unit requirements
  • Free badge-access parking and no floating between departments

Qualifications:

  • Current BLS, ARRT (MR) or AMRIT, and Kentucky State License (unless grandfathered)
  • At least 1 year of acute care MRI experience (first-time travelers welcome)
  • Soft skills: excellent patient care, positive attitude, strong communication
  • EMR experience with Cerner preferred
  • Proficient with Siemens Vida 3T and GE Signa HDxt 1.5T

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a daily workload of 6-7 MRI patients, with a unit-wide average of 40/day
  • Perform scans primarily for neuro patients (spine, stroke, head trauma) and student athletes
  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in both solo and team-based settings
  • Participate in a two-week departmental orientation and comply with all departmental standards
  • Wear ceil blue scrubs as required
