Long Term Care Pharmacist in Andover, MN

A pharmacy opportunity to support a Long Term Care setting is available on a contract basis. This position focuses on prescription verification and collaboration with pharmacy technicians.

Location: Andover, MN
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Shift options: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Pharmacy operating hours: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Contract Duration: 4+ weeks (urgent backfill)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to accurately verify prescriptions
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations in long term care prescribing
• Support pharmacy operations during assigned shifts to maintain efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Pharmacist License (MN License) required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a pharmacist, preferably in long term care or similar settings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
