Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech-language services in an elementary school setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support students’ communication development within a collaborative, supportive educational community. Both experienced SLPs and those seeking their CFY are welcome—supervision and mentorship are provided for candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligible)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) welcomed, but not required
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY); supervision included
- Strong skills in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessments, IEP development, and ongoing speech-language therapy for students in elementary grades
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to an inclusive, positive learning environment
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse linguistic and developmental needs of students
