School-Based Physical Therapist - Haverhill, MA

This onsite position is perfect for a Physical Therapist seeking a focused commitment of one day per week within a collaborative, student-centered environment. The assignment runs from September 1, 2026, through June 14, 2027, with one dedicated opening.

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts—required
• Educational credentials or certifications required by Massachusetts schools may be necessary
• Experience working within school-based settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students per IEP requirements and school guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and other related service professionals to integrate therapy into the school day
• Evaluate, document, and report students’ progress, making data-driven recommendations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to therapy in educational settings
• Maintain up-to-date records, staying organized with all student treatment logs and documentation
