Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Partner to join our law firm, where you will play a crucial role in leading our legal practice and providing strategic direction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, particularly focused in Labor, Employment, Corporate, Estate Planning, or Litigation, and will be responsible for developing client relationships and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage legal cases in various practice areas, including but not limited to Labor, Employment, Corporate, and Litigation.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients and represent them in negotiations and disputes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their legal needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff, fostering their professional development.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking, speaking engagements, and client presentations.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate legal advice.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the IL preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with a focus on Labor, Employment, Corporate, Estate Planning, or Litigation.
- Portable book of business is ideal
- Proven track record of successful case management and client relationship building.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in Commercial Real Estate, Lending, Estate Planning, or Intellectual Property is a plus.
