Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing all pharmacy operations
- Ensure compliance with federal and Massachusetts pharmacy regulations, including DEA requirements
- Manage controlled substance programs, inventory controls, and diversion prevention initiatives
- Lead operational performance efforts focused on accuracy, turnaround times, and patient satisfaction
- Hire, coach, mentor, and develop pharmacy personnel
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to improve processes and enhance patient experience
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellence and accountability
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Massachusetts Pharmacist license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or independent pharmacy setting
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pharmacy Manager, PIC, or pharmacy leadership role
- Strong leadership, team-building, and people-management skills
- Excellent patient-facing communication and customer service abilities
- Current Immunization Certification (APhA or equivalent)
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and build collaborative relationships
