Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing all pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with federal and Massachusetts pharmacy regulations, including DEA requirements
• Manage controlled substance programs, inventory controls, and diversion prevention initiatives
• Lead operational performance efforts focused on accuracy, turnaround times, and patient satisfaction
• Hire, coach, mentor, and develop pharmacy personnel
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization
• Collaborate with organizational leadership to improve processes and enhance patient experience
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on excellence and accountability

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Massachusetts Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or independent pharmacy setting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pharmacy Manager, PIC, or pharmacy leadership role
• Strong leadership, team-building, and people-management skills
• Excellent patient-facing communication and customer service abilities
• Current Immunization Certification (APhA or equivalent)
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and build collaborative relationships
