Hospital Pharmacist - Cambridge, Massachusetts

A hospital pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support clinical and operational pharmacy needs. The role focuses on providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care within a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Consult with physicians and healthcare teams regarding medication therapy
• Perform pharmacokinetic evaluations to optimize patient treatment plans
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacist license required
• Experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems strongly desired
• Strong communication and leadership skills for supervising and collaborating
