Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - Iowa Park, Texas

This opportunity is for an Inpatient Pharmacist role in a well-equipped 500-bed hospital in Lubbock, TX, featuring specialized units such as a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. The hospital recently transitioned to the EPIC system from Cerner, so familiarity with EPIC is particularly valuable. This position offers a travel assignment with the possibility of permanent employment for candidates open to relocating.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee medication management and dispensing within the inpatient setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective pharmacologic therapies
• Monitor patient responses and adjust medications as necessary
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state pharmacy regulations
• Participate in clinical rounds and provide expert drug information for specialized units including NICU and Pediatric ICU

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience is highly preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC pharmacy system is strongly desired due to recent system conversion
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Pharmacist licensure valid for Texas

Schedule/Hours:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Night shift
• Wednesday through Tuesday rotation
