Pharmacy Technician | Westerville, Ohio

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician position is available on a 13-week contract starting June 14th. This role requires a licensed pharmacy technician with strong inpatient experience to support pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in an inpatient setting
• Assist pharmacists with compounding intravenous (IV) medications, experience preferred
• Utilize Cerner EMR to document medication orders and manage inventory
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Support overnight and weekend pharmacy shifts with reliable attendance

Schedule:

• Two overnight shifts (9:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Monday through Thursday
• Two weekend shifts (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) every other weekend

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Ohio
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system
• IV compounding experience is highly desirable
