Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding contract opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists with their CCC, specializing in school-based settings. Located near Lowell, MA, this role is essential for the Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 6th through August 14th, 2026. Professionals will be working with elementary students, delivering vital speech-language services and contributing to student success throughout the summer. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:30am–12:00pm, totaling 14 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license with CCC credentials
- Prior experience in a K-12 or school-based environment, preferably with ESY programs
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive educational atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students in accordance with their IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support teams to monitor progress
- Conduct evaluations and maintain up-to-date documentation as per school district standards
- Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for interventions
- Foster a positive, engaging learning environment for all students
