Location: Burlington, NJ 08016 | Schedule: Day Shift (Must be flexible) | Pay Rate: Up to $23/hour (DOE)
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with an industry leader in AI robotics, autonomous logistics, and e-commerce fulfillment to hire a driven and detail-oriented Data Operations Lead. In this role, you will serve as the heartbeat of data collection operations, ensuring every shift runs efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with critical AI development goals. Your work will directly influence the quality and performance of next-generation robotics and intelligent systems.

Make an ImpactYou’ll be deeply involved in real-world robot operations, helping improve how robots learn and perform in warehouse environments. You’ll work side-by-side with your team—supporting teleoperation, data collection, and daily workflows—while helping connect feedback between teams to make the technology better every day.
Your leadership, attention to detail, and operational consistency will directly contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI-driven robotic technologies.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Lead the Floor
Kick off each shift with a clear stand-up: priorities, assignments, and readiness
Monitor progress and ensure targets are achieved throughout the day
Ensure Operational Excellence
Enforce SOPs across all data collection stations
Provide real-time coaching and corrections to maintain quality standards
Support & Train Operators
Onboard and train new team members on systems and processes
Serve as the go-to expert for procedural guidance
Track Performance Metrics
Monitor throughput, volume, and exception rates in real time
Deliver end-of-shift reports detailing output, blockers, and quality insights
Escalate & Resolve Issues
Log and escalate hardware, software, or process issues for engineering review
Ensure issues are well-documented for timely resolution
Drive Continuous Improvement
Identify recurring issues and inefficiencies
Partner with operations and engineering teams to improve workflows
Lead by Doing
Jump in and contribute to data collection alongside your team when needed
Keep teams engaged and productive during downtime
Stay flexible and jump in where needed to keep operations running efficiently
2–3 years of warehouse assembly and/or operations experience
Experience in operations, data collection, manufacturing, or tech-enabled environments
Strong ability to manage workflows and prioritize in real time
Proven experience training, coaching, or supporting frontline teams
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance metrics
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comfort working in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment
Flexibility with schedule as needed
Experience in AI, robotics, or advanced technology environments
Familiarity with SOP enforcement and compliance monitoring
Experience using ticketing or issue-tracking systems
Previous team lead or floor lead experience

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
