Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking summer contract assignments. If you're passionate about making a difference in school-based settings, this extended school year (ESY) position near Cambridge, MA is the perfect fit. Three dedicated SLPs are needed to provide exceptional support to elementary-aged students during the ESY program, focusing on helping students continue skill development in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Assignment dates run from July 6th through August 14th, 2026, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 12:00pm—totaling 14 hours each week. This part-time, contract role offers you the flexibility to focus on impactful, targeted intervention while maintaining work-life balance during the summer.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in school settings, especially ESY programs, is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Document student performance, session notes, and prepare progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
