Exciting opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking summer contract assignments. If you're passionate about making a difference in school-based settings, this extended school year (ESY) position near Cambridge, MA is the perfect fit. Three dedicated SLPs are needed to provide exceptional support to elementary-aged students during the ESY program, focusing on helping students continue skill development in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Assignment dates run from July 6th through August 14th, 2026, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 12:00pm—totaling 14 hours each week. This part-time, contract role offers you the flexibility to focus on impactful, targeted intervention while maintaining work-life balance during the summer.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Massachusetts SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working in school settings, especially ESY programs, is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Document student performance, session notes, and prepare progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
