Job Summary:
The position of MRI Technologist is located in Anchorage, Alaska, within an acute hospital setting. This role involves performing advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures with a focus on various anatomical regions, including abdomen, brain, breast, pelvis, and extremities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to start on August 3, 2026, for a duration of 13 weeks.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift, with minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), ARRT Registered (R), ARRT Magnet Resonance Imaging (MR) certification, and at least 1 year of clinical imaging experience. Candidates must have a valid state license or be eligible to receive one (pending license accepted). No local candidates accepted; the candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system, previous work in adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and pediatric outpatient settings.
- Float: Float rotation is not required.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). All time off must be approved upon offer and included in the submittal.
