• Emergency Medicine locum tenens opportunity
• Coverage: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. with 3-12 shifts per week

Schedule Details

• Shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM, approximately 3 to 12 shifts per week
• Coverage dates to be coordinated during the assignment process

Clinical Scope

• Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency department patients
• Managing acute medical and traumatic presentations
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and procedures within scope
• Collaborating with physicians, nursing, and support staff to coordinate patient care
• Documenting medical encounters accurately within the facility’s EMR system

Practice Environment
This opportunity is based in an established community hospital emergency department in Saint Louis, Missouri. Providers will work in a fast-paced environment supporting a broad spectrum of emergency medical presentations and procedures.

Requirements

• Active Missouri State Nurse Practitioner license
• Valid national certification (e.g., AANP or ANCC)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Prior emergency department or urgent care experience preferred
