Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking California-licensed Occupational Medicine physicians for a locum tenens assignment in Sunnyvale and the South Bay area. This role involves providing walk-in urgent care, DOT physicals, and occupational injury management within private clinics and government facilities, supporting a busy occupational health practice.

Opportunity Details

• Location: Sunnyvale and South Bay, California
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Private clinics and government facilities
• Coverage: Immediate start, ongoing

Schedule Details

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or until the last patient
• Provider must be available immediately if out of state
• Flexibility to float between Sunnyvale and San Jose clinics

Clinical Scope

• Diagnosis and treatment of work-related injuries
• Routine pre-placement DOT physical examinations
• Evaluation and management of walk-in urgent care patients
• Conducting in-office procedures
• Communicating with employers to provide medical guidance
• Emphasis on professional, respectful communication and timely documentation

Requirements

• Active California medical license
• MD degree
• Board Certification preferred
• Active DEA registration
• Ability to float between clinics in the South Bay area

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in occupational medicine and urgent care
• Familiarity with California licensing requirements
