Schedule Details

Practice Environment
This opportunity is based within an established trauma center emergency department in Roanoke, Virginia. The department manages a high-volume case mix with a focus on trauma and acute illness presentations. Providers will work within Epic EMR and handle a comprehensive range of emergency medicine cases in a community hospital setting.

Clinical Scope

• Emergency department evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and disposition
• Management of trauma, medical, surgical, and procedural presentations
• Collaboration with APPs, nursing staff, consultants, and support teams
• Admissions, transfers, and discharge coordination as clinically appropriate
• Documentation and order entry within Epic EMR

Candidate Requirements

• MD degree
• Active and unrestricted Virginia medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Residency training completion in Emergency Medicine
• ACLS and PALS certification required
• Recent emergency medicine experience preferred
