Position Description:
Join our dynamic team as an Architectural Field Measure Specialist, dedicated to transforming residential remodeling projects through precise and detailed measurements, capturing existing conditions. In this vital role, you will be the key to capturing accurate architectural data directly on-site, enabling seamless design and renovation processes. Your expertise will empower design, estimating and construction teams, ensuring every project begins with a solid foundation of accurate measurements and thorough documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive on-site measurements of residential spaces, including rooms, ceilings, doorways, windows, and other architectural features.
- Document layouts, dimensions, and key structural + MEP elements
- Create accurate as-built drawings (AutoCAD required, Revit a plus)
- Create and maintain organized documentation of all measurement data, photos, sketches, and related records for easy access and reference.Take and organize site photos and field notes
- Coordinate with our design and project development teams
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during site visits while working efficiently within tight schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience in architectural measurement, residential remodeling, interior design or construction is needed.
- Strong proficiency with measurement tools such as laser distance meters, digital sketching devices, and traditional tape measures.
- Experience with field measuring / as-built drawings preferred
- Strong AutoCAD skills (Revit is a plus)
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision and accuracy in data collection.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with different team members.
- Ability to navigate various residential environments safely and efficiently.
- Self-motivated who can work independently in the field, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple site visits and documentation tasks.
