Responsibilities:

• Provide haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual patient preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Engage with patients to ensure comfort and satisfaction during services.
• Collaborate with the hospice team to understand patient needs and preferences.
• Keep accurate records of services provided and patient interactions.
• Stay updated on trends and techniques in the beauty industry to offer the best care.
• Utilize appropriate tools and products to ensure high-quality grooming services.
• Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with patients and their families.

Requirements:

• Valid California barber or cosmetologist license.
• Experience in a salon or similar environment, preferably with elderly or hospice patients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the beauty industry.
• Flexibility to adapt to patients' needs and schedules.
