Job Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing routine nuclear medicine procedures, preparing patients for scans, operating imaging equipment, and measuring radioactive isotopes in the body to provide diagnostic information. They maintain accurate records for regulatory agencies like NRC, ACR, and HFAP, ensure the well-being of patients emotionally, mentally, and physically, and handle emergency situations calmly and professionally. The role requires access to sensitive patient information, necessitating strict adherence to ethical standards, security protocols, and privacy regulations.
Requirements:
PRN
Certified by the NMTCB or ARRT
BLS Certification
This is a PRN position that will require at least 1-8 hour shift coverage per month.
