Shipping & Assembly Technician

Location: Minden, Nevada

Pay: $20.00 - $24.33 per hour DOE

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Minden, Nevada. This is a hands-on position that combines shipping, final assembly, quality inspection, inventory support, and production responsibilities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly of industrial valve products prior to shipment
• Conduct final quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
• Package products and components to prevent shipping damage
• Process shipments and enter shipping information accurately into company systems
• Coordinate shipments and pickups with freight carriers
• Operate hand tools and department equipment safely and effectively
• Monitor and maintain inventory of assigned components and materials
• Assist with weekly inventory counts and shortage reporting
• Support receiving operations during department absences
• Work closely with production and shipping teams to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
• Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, shipping, warehouse, or other hands-on industrial environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable using computers for data entry and shipping systems
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn product assembly processes
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures accurately
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to push carts weighing up to 1,500 pounds
• Ability to stand and remain active throughout the workday
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and equipment
