The Opportunity

Must live 50 miles away from Kingston

Pay is between 2700.00-2900.00 weekly

Travel CT Scan Tech
Start: ASAP 
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Combination of Days/Evenings, 4x10hr shifts, (Day shift: 8a-6:30p / Evening shift: 10a-8:30p)

EOW Evening shift required

1.5+ years experience required

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences required
ARRT, CT certification required

BLS, CPR required
Equipment used:
GE 16 slice Brightspeed in the ER
GE 64 slice VCT in main department, Also in main department: GE 16 slice Optima 540

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans and radiological procedures with precision and accuracy.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during radiological procedures.

  • Stay updated with the latest radiology techniques and technologies.

  • Provide excellent patient care and address patient concerns during procedures.

  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

  • Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Document and report findings accurately in patient records.

  • Contribute to achieving departmental targets and performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with medical staff to interpret and analyze scan results.

  • Assist in developing and implementing radiology protocols and procedures.

  • Participate in team meetings to discuss case studies and improve practices.

  • Monitor and manage inventory of radiology supplies and materials.
