Residential Coordinator-Full Time

We are seeking a Full-Time Residential Coordinator for our Behavioral Health Services Division to coordinate and provide guidance, counseling, and encouragement to clients as they transition from the mental health system to a more independent environment; assist the Manager with daily site operations; and supervise direct service staff in implementing and documenting client progress, in accordance with individualized rehabilitation service plans.

Other responsibilities include;

• Provide support and ensure the delivery of appropriate services; review client accessibility to services.
• Reinforce implementation of the individual rehabilitation service plans; incorporate modifications and updates, as directed.
• Responsible for the operation of the site during assigned shift and/or in the absence of the Manager.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in the Social Sciences, healthcare, or a related field and 2-3 years of relevant experience in the MH/MR field; or any combination of experience, education, or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill, and ability required.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Some knowledge of mental health systems and supports.
• Prior supervisory experience is helpful.

Scope:

• Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop, and bend, which may include direct intervention with residents.
• Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• May be required to possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record (contingent upon facility location and client and program needs).
• May require crisis intervention in emergencies.
• May be required to report to work during emergencies, including inclement weather.
