Job Description
Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description:
Responsible for overseeing shipments and receipt of outgoing and incoming material, parts, and products.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies
- Manage PW SNC online database for daily shipments
- Manage all shipping documents such as travelers, bills of lading, etc.
- Visual Inspect parts for FOD, check certs and verify serial numbers of completed orders if required.
- Supports the Quality inspection process; records and checks quantity and quality of products being shipped
- Investigate and resolve shipping related issues.
- Work within and promote established safety and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and other staff.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Cross training with the Receiving department
- Other duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High school diploma or GED
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work, attention to detail.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Moderate to advanced computer knowledge with MS Office applications
