CNC Lathe and Mill Operator -- Metal Fabrication

• Title: CNC Lathe and Mill Operator — Metal Fabrication
• Location: Greenwood, AR
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Fridays and Saturdays as required
• Pay: $18/hour+ (DOE)

Core Duties

• Set up and run CNC mills, CNC lathes, grinders, and other fabrication equipment
• Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine parameters to meet tolerance and finish requirements
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to produce parts to spec
• Verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges; document and report defects and support corrective actions
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain clean, safe work areas in adherence to safety protocols

Qualifications

• Must provide documentation of a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant or shop environment
• 1–2 years of hands-on CNC machine operation
• Competent in reading blueprints and using a tape measure accurately
• Strong mechanical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks that involve walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping

Equipment You’ll Use

• CNC machines, grinders, lathes, saws, and common hand tools
• Precision measuring tools, hoists, and forklifts

Safety

• Steel-toed boots required
