Activity Therapist

Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Full-Time Activity Therapist in our Geriatric Psychiatry department.

The Activity Therapist position directs State-mandated hospital activity treatment programs for Geriatric Psychiatry patients. In addition, this position oversees and directs the Teen Volunteer (STAT) Program and facilitates the community Memory Cafe. The level of independent decision-making and policy interpretation skills needed encompasses a broad mix of educational expertise in clinical care and management of patient regulations. This position leads projects designed to promote excellence within the department and works cooperatively with the medical staff and other departments within the Patient Services areas.

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in Recreational or Occupational Therapy.

Professional Experience: Prefer one-year related experience

Certification: CTRS Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, or Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm, No weekends, No Holidays
