Job Title: Receiving Clerk
Pay Rate: $18/hr.
Shift: 1st
Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D, PSL
Role is responsible for accurately receiving raw materials, packaging, and supplies; maintaining inventory records, assisting with purchase; and ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition
- Match deliveries to purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to unload, move, and store materials safely
- Enter receiving and inventory data into computerized inventory and ERP systems
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories as scheduled
- Identify, report, and help resolve inventory discrepancies or damaged goods
- Maintain accurate receiving paperwork, logs, and inventory records
- Provide clerical and administrative support to warehouse and production staff as needed
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety requirements, and company policies
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized receiving area
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Forklift certification and hands-on forklift operating experience
- Basic computer skills (inventory systems, data entry, Microsoft Office)
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and shipping documents
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate material handling equipment throughout the shift
