Job Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Scrub Tech is needed for a travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. Start date: 06/29/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,737–$2,920 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. This position operates in an acute care setting within a cardiac catheterization/interventional cardiology service line. The assignment requires travel and involves a rotating call schedule. Unit teams handle adult and geriatric patients across three procedure rooms with seven beds, focusing on high-volume interventional procedures.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterizations
- Support PCI/angioplasty with coronary stent placement; participate in STEMI care as part of the interventional team
- Assist with pacemaker and ICD insertion/programming, temporary pacemakers, and loop recorders as applicable
- Perform vascular procedures such as carotid stenting, IVC filters, and peripheral angiography under supervision
- Provide hemodynamic support as trained (IABP, Impella, VAD) and maintain sterile technique; operate fluoroscopy and imaging systems
- Maintain sterile field, assist with charting in the electronic medical record (EPIC), and collaborate with the interdisciplinary cath lab team
Requirements
- Cardiac Cath Lab scrub tech experience: at least 3 years
- Certifications: BLS required; RCIS and ARRT(R) noted; confirm required certs on submission
- Licensure: Pending state license accepted; IL: license in hand required at submittal; MO: may submit without license (follow state-compact rules); compact license must match permanent residence
- Experience: Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted; local candidates not accepted within 75-mile radius
- Pre-start readiness: Labs within 48–72 hours of signing; required modules through WorkRamp completed pre-start
- Ability to work in a high-volume interventional cath lab with rotating call and to float within the service line
