Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment at a nationally recognized academic medical center in Columbus, Ohio.

This role supports a high-volume outpatient Breast Center with additional coverage at satellite screening locations.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for Mammography Technologists experienced in both screening and diagnostic imaging who are comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• 5x8 Day shifts
• Typical shift times:
• 08:00–16:30
• 08:30–17:00
• 09:30–18:00
• Holiday weeks convert to 4x10-hour shifts
• Occasional Saturday coverage required
• Mobile unit coverage may require hours between 06:30–19:00

COMPENSATION
Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable.

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography
• Support outpatient Breast Center and satellite screening locations
• Operate digital and 3-D mammography equipment
• Ensure patient safety and imaging quality standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records

UNIT OVERVIEW
• Outpatient Breast Center environment
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Average 10–15 patients per day
• Digital mammography with 3-D imaging capability
• Six imaging rooms
• No biopsy experience required

Requirements:

• Active Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Mammography License required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with screening and diagnostic mammography required
• Experience with digital and 3-D mammography required
• Ability to work in an outpatient breast center environment
• Willingness to rotate shifts and work occasional Saturdays
• Ability to comply with Ohio fingerprinting and credentialing timelines

Important Notes:
• Strict Ohio fingerprinting timeline – must be completed immediately after booking
• RTO must be submitted with profile and built into contract
• Locals accepted at same rate
• Only one OSU location per submission
• Former employees eligible after 6 months
• Current employees not eligible
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
