Were seeking an experienced Optometrist for a locum assignment in Northern Maineperfect for clinicians who enjoy travel, flexibility, and outdoor adventure while making a real impact in an underserved community.

Position Highlights

• 6-month assignment (Start in July)
• $110$120/hour
• 4 x 10-hour shifts | No call
• ~16 patients per day
• 1 dedicated Optometric Technician
• FQHC setting

What Youll Do

Provide comprehensive and urgent eye care, including exams, contact lenses, glaucoma and diabetic care, post-op co-management, and OCT/visual field interpretation.

Requirements

• Maine license or eligibility
• NBEO Board Certified
• DEA & BLS
• 12+ years experience
