Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Medical-Surgical position at a critical access teaching hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience.
Details
- Medical-Surgical unit in a 25-bed critical access, non-trauma teaching hospital
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Every other weekend required
- On-call required once per pay period
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- No floating between units within this facility, though travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
- No parking fee
Requirements
- Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs may be any color
- Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive time-off requests may impact the hiring process
- Any RTO or scheduling requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests are not guaranteed to be approved
