Become a vital part of a Lorain, OH hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT imaging examinations, administer intravenous contrast per hospital guidelines, operate CT equipment, and perform related general radiographic duties as required. You will follow radiation safety procedures, document patient care, perform quality control tasks, and assist in maintaining departmental supplies and cleanliness. You will work within the radiology team to deliver patient-centered care consistent with organizational standards and values.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current ARRT(R) registration required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Ohio Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license required.
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required.
- Experience with GE CT scanners required (580W Wide Bore 16-slice and Optima 64-slice preferred).
- Ability to start IVs for contrast administration.
- Ability to work independently and in varied staffing situations.
- Experience performing a high volume of CT exams and managing workflow during night coverage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ARRT(CT) certification preferred.
- ACLS preferred.
- Previous hospital CT experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- 12-hour night shift schedule: Thursday 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.; Friday 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.; Saturday 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
- Will not need to float outside of CT.
- Daily CT exam volume typically 70–130; evening/overnight volume typically 20–30 exams.
- 2 CT scanners in department; candidate must have GE CT experience.

Impacting Patient Care
You will perform CT imaging and contrast administration under radiologist/physician direction, maintain equipment and quality control records, observe radiation safety standards, educate patients, document care, and support department operations. You will participate in department meetings and training and may assist in developing procedures and training students or trainees. You will deliver respectful and compassionate patient interactions and support the department’s mission and values.
