Travel Pharmacist | Inpatient Acute Care | Rice Lake, WI | Days
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment at a respected acute care hospital in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Every other weekend is required
- Holiday coverage is required if it falls on a scheduled workday
- Potential on-call requirements
Facility
- Acute Care Hospital
- Inpatient Pharmacy Department
- Charting System: Cerner
- Medication Dispensing System: Omnicell
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License (temporary license accepted)
- BLS (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of recent hospital pharmacy experience
- Experience reviewing, assessing, and verifying provider orders
- Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians
- Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy skills
Responsibilities
- Review, assess, and verify medication orders for hospital and emergency department patients
- Ensure safe and effective medication management
- Supervise pharmacy technicians
- Participate in clinical pharmacy activities as trained
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
Additional Information
- Department hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mon–Fri), 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Sat–Sun)
- Department-specific orientation provided
- Business casual or scrubs permitted
