Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum position in Massachusetts, requiring LDRP float capability and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum unit within a hospital setting
- True LDRP position requiring work in both Labor & Delivery and Post Partum
- Assigned to a maternity float pool
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate certification or higher required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required; 3 years strongly preferred (2+ years with travel experience may be considered)
- Experience and willingness to float between L&D and Post Partum required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two references required for consideration, at least one must be from a Nurse Manager or higher
- Active nursing license must be free of any prior disciplinary actions
Additional Information
- Two pass/fail exams are administered during orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam (EKG), each with only one attempt allowed — failure results in immediate contract cancellation
- Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and before orientation
- Local candidates are accepted
- Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Maximum of 5 days of RTO permitted for this assignment
- First-time travelers may be considered with 2+ years of L&D/PP experience
