Job SummaryCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services, OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by providing surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout surgical procedures.
- Adhere to standardized aseptic techniques to mitigate infection risks.
- Handle, label, and process surgical specimens appropriately.
- Maintain compliance with universal protocol procedures.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Tech in an acute care setting.
- Proficient in Epic charting system or similar.
- Current BLS certification.
- NBSTSA certification preferred.
- Experience in CVOR and various cardiac surgical procedures preferred.
- Valid CA State License required prior to the start date.
