As a **Director of Security** , and facility safety – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Here's what you'll do during a typical day: + **Lead safety and security operations:** Oversee all safety and security functions, including ensuring OSHA compliance, promoting safe work practices, and managing department systems, budgets, and policies. + **Oversee safety training:** Lead the coordination and administration of safety training programs, including CPR, fire and life safety, workplace violence prevention, and driver training + **Ensure property safety:** Direct security patrols of hotel premises to identify and address safety risks, security threats, and undesirable conditions + **Lead investigations:** Oversee inquiries into accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities + **Direct emergency responses:** Lead responses to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and security threats + **Liaise with law enforcement:** Serve as the primary contact for federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies on security-related matters + **Cultivate a high-performing team:** Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs **What It Takes to Make the Stay** At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of **Hospitality** .
