Hematology/Oncology APP Locum Opportunity – New Hampshire

A community-based oncology practice is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Hematology/Oncology experience for a six-month locum assignment.

Compensation: $165/hr

Position Overview

Specialty: Hematology/Oncology

Provider Type: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Schedule: 4 days per week

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Assignment Length: 6 months

No call coverage

No weekend coverage

Practice Setting

Outpatient Hematology/Oncology practice

Adult patient population

Average daily patient volume: 10–12 patients

Collaborative environment with physician and APP support

Clinical Responsibilities

Management of general hematology and oncology patients

Follow-up care and treatment monitoring

Responding to patient and care team inquiries

Ordering and reviewing laboratory studies and imaging

Maintaining accurate and timely medical records

Signing chemotherapy orders

Coordinating patient care across the treatment team

Clinical Requirements

Comfortable managing both hematology and oncology patients

No procedures required

Must be comfortable signing chemotherapy orders

Subspecialty support available through the larger network

Support Structure

One physician onsite

One additional APP onsite

Collaborative team environment

EMR: Epic experience required

Additional Training

Providers must be willing to complete the APSHO Cancer Therapy Prescribing Course if not previously completed

Course time and expenses are covered

Requirements

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Prior Hematology/Oncology experience required

Active New Hampshire license or active IMLC required

Epic experience required

COVID and Flu vaccination required

Current NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation
