Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered CT Technologist for a 13-week day shift contract with occasional weekend support, requiring ARRT(CT) certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Details
- CT Scan department at an acute care hospital in Delta, CO
- 3x12-hour day shifts plus one 4-hour shift per week
- Occasional weekend support required
- Performs standard CT exams as well as special procedures including contrast media administration
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience; 2 years preferred
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- Completion of a formal radiology technology training program at an AMA-approved school
- Active state license required if applicable
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient transport, positioning, CT equipment operation, contrast media administration, and participation in special procedures
- Assists in the training of radiology students
- Maintains sterile technique and Universal Precautions throughout all procedures
- MRI experience is a strong plus but not required
