Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and proficiency with GE equipment and PACS for a 13-week travel contract in Kentucky.
Details
- CT Scan department in an acute care hospital setting
- Schedule follows a rotating 36/48-hour two-week pay period — alternating between 3x12 and 4x12 shifts; travelers who cannot accept this schedule may be subject to cancellation
- Shifts run Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–10:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within scope of practice
- Meditech EMR in use
- GE and PACS systems used
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech or X-Ray Tech required
- Active ARRT certification required
- AHA BLS required
- Active Kentucky state license or compact license required; candidates willing to apply for KY licensure upon offer will be considered — application must be submitted the same day the offer is accepted (license required if applicable)
- Experience with GE equipment and PACS required
- Driver's License with permanent address matching application required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration: 1 charge nurse or higher and 1 supervisor reference, both completed within the last year
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Orientation is held on a bi-weekly basis
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; RTO must be submitted upfront and no changes will be accepted after submission
- Must be willing to work either a major or minor holiday each contract
- Travelers who have worked within this system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
- Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit
- Middle name is required on the application; confirmation is needed if no middle name exists
