Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician located in Modesto, California. This position involves providing sterilization and processing of surgical instruments and medical equipment within a healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their certification and license on the first day of work. The role requires availability to work weekends and a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
Job Details:
- Location: Modesto, California
- Specialty: Sterile Processing Technician
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support) and SPT (Sterile Processing Technician) certification; valid state license; minimum of 2 years of sterile processing experience; experience with Epic charting system preferred; must be available for weekend shifts; candidates must provide copies of current AHA (American Heart Association) or American Red Cross certifications at time of submission; must be able to go in for lab work within 3-5 days of signing.
- Additional Information: Candidate submission must include Sutter Cover Sheet, two references obtained within the last year, and certification copies in hand. Candidates must have a valid state license and Nursys record within the last 2 weeks. A background check is required, including disclosure of any background hits or DUIs. Candidates will undergo 7-year work history verification. Modules are non-billable and completed during orientation via e-learning. RTO (Return To Office) consideration is limited to one approved holiday. The position requires compliance with specific travel policies, including a 50-mile travel requirement, with local candidates accepted at a lower billing rate.
