Job Summary:
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available in Truckee, California. The role involves performing advanced nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT scans, and supporting outpatient and inpatient imaging services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience and appropriate certification and education. The work schedule consists of Monday and Thursday 10-hour shifts, starting at approximately 6:00 or 6:30 am.
Job Details:
- Location: Truckee, California
- Schedule: Monday and Thursday, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N), appropriate state licensing (California AB 2720)
- Education: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, Nuclear Medicine Technology Certificate from the Board (NMTCB)
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in nuclear medicine technology
- Equipment familiarity: Siemens e CAM, PET CT (preferred), and EMR: EPIC
- Current work environment: Mobile unit as equipment is being replaced
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with possibility of extension
- Shift notes: Days, 10-hour shifts
- Requirements: No call requirement; no nights or weekends
- Equipment and System Experience: Experience with PET/CT, MIM, iMed Scheduling, Keane Radiology System, Philips iSiteEnterprise PACS or similar systems is preferred.
- Other details: Must have appropriate certification required by the state of California AB 2720 to perform PET/CT
