A Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) position is available in Dubuque, Iowa. This role involves supporting surgical procedures within the facility, with a focus on patient safety and sterilization processes. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Dubuque, Iowa
- Specialty: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts; start times can be between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM or 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician, current license to practice in the state, no minimum experience required, and must be able to work days.
- Additional Information: On-call responsibilities during weekdays involve being on call until 7:00 AM after the end of shift, with one night per week. Weekend on-call from Friday end of shift to Monday 7:00 AM every fourth weekend. Holiday shifts or on-call rotations are variable based on holiday schedule, including holidays like Labor Day.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Schedule: The shift hours are 10 hours per day, with a start time flexibility as noted. The minimum hours per week are 40.
