We are a busy, friendly allergy, asthma, and immunology practice dedicated to helping our patients breathe easier and feel better. Our team is tight-knit, highly supportive, and deeply passionate about providing exceptional care in a welcoming environment.
We are seeking a versatile, cross-trained Medical Assistant / Front Office Coordinator who thrives in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is equally confident managing front-desk administration and delivering high-quality clinical back-office care.
Your Responsibilities
Front Office (Administrative)
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in/check-out process.
- Answer multi-line phones, triage calls, and schedule patient appointments.
- Verify insurance benefits, collect co-pays, and manage patient charts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Back Office (Clinical)
- Escort patients to exam rooms, take vitals, and document medical histories.
- Administer allergy injections and accurately document dosages.
- Assist providers with specialized allergy testing and clinical procedures.
- Clean, sanitize, and stock exam rooms with necessary medical supplies.
- Ensure all patient charts and clinical notes are accurate and current.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) training program or active MA certification.
- Excellent communication skills with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- High level of attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities.
- Reliable team player with a positive, patient-first attitude.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Previous experience in an outpatient medical clinic (Allergy or Primary Care preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Athena Practice / Centricity EMR systems.
- Prior experience administering injections.
