Industrial Maintenance Tech

The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing machines and conveyor systems within a small maintenance team. This position requires a self-directed professional with full autonomy to perform equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. The technician will also ensure all systems are calibrated and compliant with safety standards while maintaining accurate records. Occasional local travel may be required to support maintenance operations across facilities.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain manufacturing machines and conveyor systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues autonomously
• Calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Replace worn or faulty parts promptly
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Handle and organize necessary tools safely

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Expertise in mechanical repair and electrical systems
• Knowledge of hydraulics and PLC basics
• Welding skills
• Strong understanding of safety procedures
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills
